Licensing and Accreditation

Hunter-Bellevue Baccalaureate grad­uates are prepared to practice as generalist nurses in health care settings. Graduates from the Generic and Accelerated 2nd Degree Programs are eligible to take the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The program also provides a foundation for graduate study which also is offered at the School of Nursing. Graduates of the advanced practice nursing programs are eligible to take the certification examinations for nurse practitioners and clinical nurse specialist.
