Admissions Requirements

1. A master’s degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of at least 3.5.

2. Permanent or professional certification in Childhood Education, Grades 1-6.

3. A personal statement.

• ECF 70200 - Assessment in Early Childhood Education: Birth through Grade 2
• ECC 70300 - Early Childhood Curriculum: Birth through Grade 2
• ECC 70500 - Language and Literacy: Birth through Kindergarten
• ECC 71300 - The Expressive Arts in Early Childhood

Exit Requirements

1. An overall GPA of 3.0.

2. A grade of at least B in classes with clinical fieldwork hours (ECF 70000  and ECC 70300 ).

3. Must maintain a valid and appropriate NYS certification. 

4. Complete the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) workhsop.
