SPAN 39200 - Internship in Interpretation
Students who have completed the 39000 sequence of courses and have maintained an average of B+ or better are encouraged to take advantage of this internship to train them in real-world interpreting skills in the context of court interpreting, parliamentary procedure, diplomatic etiquette, conference organization, etc. This internship consists of 70 hours of practical work in interpretation as well as frequent meetings with the professor supervising the internship
in order to discuss issues and problems in the real world of professional interpretation.
prereq: SPAN 38100 – 38400, 39000 3 hrs3 cr.
