MATH 74200 - Analytic Functions Theoretical treatment of the properties of a function of a complex variable including Cauchy’s Theorem, the special functions, power series, and the Riemann Mapping theorem.
prereq: MATH 35300 or equivalent and departmental permission Hours 3 Credits 3 A stand-alone course in functions of a complex variable presented at a higher level than MATH 35300 or MATH 64200. The course is intended for both Pure and Applied Math students and optionally a required course for the MA in Pure Math. An undergraduate course in complex variables is preferred, but not required.
