MATH 63300 - Axiomatic Geometry The development of geometry from the point of view of axiom systems. The course includes axiomatic systems for Euclidean geometry from the classical period to the Hilbert axioms of the early 20th century, and the development of non-Euclidean hyperbolic geometry. This is a theoretical mathematics course. The material is presented in its historical context.
