ECF 20000 - Human Development and Theories of Learning, Prenatal-Age 8 This course will examine the history of child development and the major theories and theorists in the area of child development. An understanding of research strategies and the impact of cultural, biological and environmental influences on the development of young children will also be examined. Current research in the areas of prenatal development, physical, cognitive, language, social, emotional and early brain development will also be discussed. prereq: ENGL 12000 coreq: ECF 20100, ECC 30000 3 hrs 3 cr.
