SEDC 75401 - Student Teaching in Biology, Grades 7–12 (KC) Teacher candidates complete 30 days of student teaching at grades 7–9 and 30 days at grades 10–12 under the supervision of a Hunter College faculty member and a certified biology teacher in a New York City school selected by the college. They further develop their skills in the delivery of instruction. Student teachers will assume significant responsibility for classroom instruction and management.
prereq: SEDC 72400 prereq or coreq: SEDF 70600 Hours 45; 60 days student teaching plus workshops and conferences, Credits 5
This Key Course requires a grade of B or better to pass.
Any student who receives a grade of F or WU in this class will not be permitted to continue in the program.
This course may be repeated only once.
