ECO 72600 - Policy and Program Evaluation Econometric techniques for evaluating programs. Topics include randomized experiments, propensity score matching, instrumental variables, difference-in-difference estimates, regression discontinuity models and the ethics of human subject research. Most of the assignments will be problems sets involving analysis of data using a statistical package and written up in the form of research reports. Estimates 5 reports of 5 pages each. One term paper of 15 pages.
