ASIAN 32005 - Asian American Memoir Pluralism and Diversity PD/B Close examination of memory as an imagined and contested site that complicates and challenges how we constitute self and other. Students will analyze constructions of identity through Asian American narratives, and their relation to language, form and experience, including immigration and gendered narratives to transnational categories of homeland and belonging.
