SEDF 71400 - Adolescent Development and Learning: Grades 7-12 This course prepares teacher candidates to think about how adolescents develop and learn by examining the process of cognitive, social/emotional, personality and language development among youth who vary by gender, race and ethnicity, English proficiency and levels of ability. Emphasis will be placed on creating culturally compatible classrooms, motivating students, and assessing their learning.
