ASTRO 10300 - Laboratory Explorations in Astronomy This is an introductory, one-semester astronomy course designed for non-science majors. The approach in this course is to emphasize the ideas of Astronomy and a qualitative understanding of the physical processes that shape the Universe via laboratory exercises. Each laboratory exercise is self-contained and accompanied with an introduction discussing the fundamental physical principle and methods used. prereq: ASTRO 10000 3 hr. 3 cr.
