HIST 29000 - History Practicum (W) A seminar-style course intended to introduce students to the practice of historical research and writing. Students will be given a directed “hands-on” experience in conducting historical research and in the writing of research papers in measured, progressively challenging assignments. The course will prepare students to successfully engage in more self-directed, substantial and independent historical research projects in the future. prereq: ENGL 12000; 6 cr in history and permission of the department 3 hrs. 3 cr.
