PSYCH 74600 - Social Psychology (S) An advanced overview of the field, includes a focus on: the development of social psychological theory; beliefs, attitudes, and social behavior; stereotyping and prejudice; influencing attitudes and changing behavior; interpersonal perception; the self and social identity; social interaction and interpersonal relationships; group dynamics; and implications of social psychology for understanding society.
Hours 45 hrs including conference, Credits 3 cr Permission for all courses must be obtained from the graduate adviser. Some courses require the permission of the instructor as well. This course require a stronger background than that required for most 600 level courses.
