GER 3/B PD/A This course comprises, chronologically and thematically, the history of the Ottoman Empire from the Turkic migrations in the 12th-century to the end of the empire in 1923 and the rise of nationalism in the Middle East. Fundamental knowledge of the history of the Middle East is recommended.
