About the Office of the Provost

The provost is the chief academic office of Hunter College. The deans of all the Hunter schools and the Hunter College Library report to the provost, as do the two associate provosts and the director of the Hunter College Campus Schools.

Several academic programs are also under the provost’s jurisdiction. These are programs that include courses and faculty from more than one of the Hunter schools.
