Access to College Files

The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) affords students certain rights with respect to their education records. These rights include the right to inspect the student’s education records; the right to request the amendment of the student’s education records that the student believes are inaccurate or misleading; the right to consent to disclosure of personally identifiable information contained in the student’s education records; and the right to request that certain information not be released without his or her prior written consent by filing a letter with the Office of the Registrar.
